Radojevic, Mink named Bulldogs of the Week
PERKINSTON — Vanessa Radojevic and Alexander Mink have been named Bulldogs of the Week for Oct. 13-19.
Radojevic, a freshman midfielder from Sciez, France, had a goal and an assist in Gulf Coast's 3-0 win over Copiah-Lincoln.
Mink, a sophomore midfielder from Long Beach, had the game-winning goal and an assist in Gulf Coast's 2-1 win over Copiah-Lincoln.
Also nominated:
Omarion Brown, a freshman keeper from Linstead, Jamaica, stopped all three shots he saw in the run of play, allowing only a penalty kick in Gulf Coast's 2-1 win over Copiah-Lincoln.
Laurel Conley, a sophomore keeper from Ocean Springs, stopped the only shot she saw in a 3-0 shutout of Copiah-Lincoln.
Malorie Gaughf, a freshman middle blocker from Gulfport, had 28 kills and a .370 percentage in two matches for Gulf Coast. She also had five blocks.
Tyler Henderson, a sophomore wide receiver from Vicksburg, had nine catches for 141 yards and two touchdowns in Gulf Coast's 27-26 loss to Copiah-Lincoln.
Cambell Herrington, a freshman outside hitter/defensive specialist, led Gulf Coast with 46 digs and five service aces in two matches.
Sha'Mar Sawyer, a freshman linebacker from McComb, had 10 tackles in Gulf Coast's 27-26 loss to Copiah-Lincoln.
