Brice Wilkinson

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (2017-19)
Madison, Miss.

As a freshman, Brice Wilkinson helped lead Gulf Coast to its first golf national championship, finishing sixth at the NJCAA Division II tournament at GlenLakes Golf Club in Foley, Ala. His name still appears prominently throughout the Bulldogs record book.

In 2018, he had six top-five finishes, including winning medalist honors at the NJCAA District D championship in Columbus. He shot 1-under to lead Gulf Coast to its 10th region/district title in 11 years.

Wilkinson shot back-to-back 3-under 69s at the national championship to lead a comeback effort for the championship. He earned NJCAA All-American First Team honors as well as the Phil Mickelson Award given to the nation’s top freshman. He was also a PING First-Team All-American.

In his sophomore year, he won or tied for medalist four times, including winning the MACCC and NJCAA District D tournaments. Gulf Coast won both events, as well. Wilkinson was named PING First-Team All-American and NJCAA First-Team All-American for the second time. He finished third at the national championship, leading Gulf Coast to a third-place finish as a team. He also earned a spot on the All-Nicklaus Team.

Wilkinson has the lowest stroke average in school history (71.23 in 2018-19) and has the best winning percentage (95 percent). He had the lowest scoring average in school history on par-3 holes as a freshman, and the two lowest par-4 averages.
