Lloyd Seymour Jr., left behind an impressive record at MGCCC, starring as the defensive captain of the triumphant 1968 state championship team, igniting a legacy of unparalleled success at Perk.
A dynamic force, Seymour transitioned from offensive guard to a tenacious linebacker, earning a spot on the NJCAA All-American Second Team in a thrilling sophomore season. Coach George Sekul, recognizing his brilliance, bestowed the honor of a spot on the Team of the Decade upon Seymour.
His journey continued at Mississippi College, where Seymour’s prowess soared. As the team’s most valuable defensive player and co-captain in his senior season, he left a mark.
Beyond the gridiron, Seymour dedicated 30 years to the Biloxi Public School, a testament to his enduring commitment to excellence both on and off the field.
