Sharon Kuhn took over as the Athletic Department Administrative Assistant in 2022, bringing a wealth of experience in collegiate administration.

She worked in the office last year on a part-time basis and moved into the full-time position in August.

After working for BFI for four years in Leland, she joined the Delta State University alumni association as the senior secretary from 2001-06. She spent the next three years as the alumni and foundation bookkeeper.

In 2008, she started working at the University of Central Arkansas as an administrative specialist in alumni services. In 2011, Kuhn became a project specialist for the school’s foundation, a position she held until 2021.

Kuhn’s husband, David, is the Gulf Coast softball coach. They have two daughters, Taylor and Cheyenne, who played for him at Central Arkansas. Taylor is the head coach at Lyon College in Arkansas, and Cheyenne is an assistant softball and volleyball coach at Conway (Ark.) Junior High.
