Nick Louvier began his college coaching career in 2022 at Gulf Coast. He serves as running backs coach, recruiting coordinator and social media coordinator.
Three Bulldogs running backs from the 2024 team headed to the Next Level, including Trey Hall, who signed with Ole Miss. Chandler Chapman went to Southern Illinois, and Brandon Hines to Harding. Hall averaged 7.4 yards per rush to tie the school record, finishing with 1,098 yards, the eighth-most. His 109.8 yards per game were the third-most in the NJCAA and fifth-most in school history, and Hall’s 13 touchdowns were tied for fifth in the country.
Two Bulldog running backs finished high on the 2023 leaderboards. Freshman Trey Hall finished third in the NJCAA by averaging 7.2 yards per carry, which was fifth best in school history. He ran for 883 yards and seven touchdowns, and sophomore Jamari Thompson finished fifth in the MACCC with 756 yards rushing while averaging 6.1 yards per carry
The graduate of Mississippi State came to Perkinston after one season as an assistant at Jackson Academy
Louvier was a 1,600-yard rusher as a senior at St. Joseph Catholic High School in Madison. He was part of the Copiah-Lincoln football team before transferring to Mississippi State.
He has a bachelor's degree in business marketing.
