Bulldogs lose by 15 at LSU Eunice

Mississippi Gulf Coast dropped its second straight men's basketball game on the road Wednesday, losing 80-65 at LSU Eunice.

Darius Dawson (So., Sumter S.C./West Florence) led the Bulldogs with 15 points and also picked up six rebounds. Donovan Sanders (So., Walls/Lake Cormorant) had 13 points, and Jabarie Robinson (Fr., Raymond/Raymond) added 12.

Anthony Robinson (Fr., Long Beach/Long Beach) narrowly missed a double-double with eight points and 10 rebounds. He also had a team-high five assists.

Gulf Coast (2-2) held the Bengals (4-0) to 43.8 percent shooting from the floor, including 6-of-23 from the 3-point line, but the Bulldogs turned the ball over 23 times and got outrebounded by seven.

MGCCC is back on the road Friday with a trip to Ellisville. The Bulldogs play Jones in a non-conference game starting at 6 p.m. The game will be streamed at http://jcjc.tv.
