MGCCC’s Yelverton, Hall sweep MACJC awards

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's Bryce Yelverton and Jordan Hall have won MACJC Player of the Week awards for the second time each this season.

Yelverton, a 6-foot-3 sophomore from Gulfport, had shutouts in both Bulldogs victories last week, stopping 11 shots he faced. Gulf Coast downed Southwest 7-0 and Meridian 5-0.

Hall, a 5-foot-9 freshman from Manchester, England, had hat tricks in both victories, extending his streak to three straight. He also picked up an assist in each game. Hall ranks second in the country with 13 goals.
