Jordan Hall scored his ninth and 10th goals of the year and Mississippi Gulf Coast extended its MACJC South winning streak with a 3-0 win over Southwest.
Gulf Coast improves to 4-1 overall. The Bulldogs won their 17th straight MACJC South Division game to move to 3-0.
Southwest, playing its sixth game, took its first loss and is 2-1 in the division.
The teams played a scoreless first half, but Hall (So, Manchester, England/Royton and Crompton) broke the ice with a goal in the first minute of the second half.
Max Johnson (Fr, Rugby, England/Harris Church of England Academy) got his first goal of the season with 38 minutes left, with Hall closing out the scoring less than 10 minutes later.
Owen Betz (So, Pass Christian/St. Stanislaus) recorded his fourth straight shutout. The Bulldogs have outscored the opposition 18-0 during the stretch.
Gulf Coast plays at Meridian on Tuesday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
