PERKINSTON — No. 15 Mississippi Gulf Coast lost its second straight men's soccer game Tuesday, falling 1-0 to East Central at Bary Thrash Field.
It was the first loss to the Warriors since 2012. ECCC scored an olympico on a 30th-minute corner kick and held on despite facing a 12-4 disadvantage in shots on goal.
Gulf Coast (5-4, 1-2 MACCC) took 22 shots.
Gulf Coast travels to Summit on Friday for a 7 p.m. kickoff against Southwest Mississippi. The game will be streamed at https://go.smccbears.tv/.
