No. 19 Bulldogs sweep to 3-0

PERKINSTON — No. 19 Mississippi Gulf Coast dominated Coastal Alabama-South on Thursday, sweeping to a 9-0 victory at the MGCCC Tennis Complex.

The Bulldogs won their third straight match to open the season.

Serban Bonchis (Fr., Mihai Eminescu National College/Oradea, Romania), Patrick Roth (So., Resurrection/Pascagoula), Seth Macute (Fr., St Joseph's Nudgee College/Brisbane, Australia), Wesley Fontaine (So., Biloxi/Biloxi), Clint Verrett (So., Gulfport/Gulfport) and Raymond Lam (Fr., Biloxi/Biloxi) were parts of two winning matches each.

Gulf Coast returns to action Saturday in an MACJC match against Hinds that was rescheduled from earlier this week. First serves are at noon.
