Bulldogs stay unbeaten in MACCC
Mississippi Gulf Coast remained atop the MACCC men's tennis standings Friday by winning soundly at Meridian before taking their first loss of the season in a non-conference match.
The Bulldogs (10-1, 9-0 MACCC) beat the Eagles 7-2 before falling 8-1 to the Lions in a doubleheader.
Gulf Coast swept the doubles matches against Meridian, then picked up four singles points.
Pedro Molero (Fr., Maracaibo, Venezuela/U.E. Instituto Americano Joseph John Thomson) and Clay Fudge (Fr., Madison/Madison Central) won both their No. 2 doubles matches.
The Bulldogs travel to Coastal Alabama on Tuesday for another non-conference match. First serves are set for 1 p.m.
