Tennis rained out in Texas

No. 14 Mississippi Gulf Coast and the rest of the field in the NJCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship got rained out Thursday.

The event, being played in Plano, Texas, will resume Friday for the final day of competition. 

The Bulldogs' Hiram Havard (So., Vancleave/Vancleave) and John Thomas Frank (So., Eupora/Eupora) will be playing in the No. 3 doubles consolation semifinals at 10 a.m. The finals will be played immediately after.

Gulf Coast is in 13th place in the 29-team tournament.
