PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast blanked Copiah-Lincoln for the second time this women's soccer season, pouring in five goals at Bary Thrash Field.

Katie Brown scored twice and assisted on another, and Brianna Lee (Fr., Perkinston/Stone) scored once and assisted on two more.

Bettie Shoemaker (So., Vancleave/St. Martin) and Leah Bennett (Fr., Cape Town, South Africa/Mondeor) scored once, and Hannah Salter (Fr., Olive Branch/Lewisburg) picked up an assist.

The Bulldogs scored twice before halftime and three more after the break.

They head to Southwest Mississippi on Monday to finish off a demanding stretch of three games in six days. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
