PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast begins a much more favorable second-half women's soccer schedule Tuesday. The Bulldogs will play four of the final five games of the regular season at home, starting with Meridian.

The Bulldogs have a chance to jump the Eagles. They can move into second place with a win, having dropped a 2-0 loss at Meridian in the first meeting.

  • MGCCC lost 5-0 to Jones in Hattiesburg on Friday.

Despite peppering the Eagles with 12 shots on goal, the Bulldogs lost 2-0 at Meridian on Sept. 11. Skyler Steede (So., Lucedale/George County) had seven saves.
