Bulldogs play 1st home game Thursday

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast plays its first women's basketball at the Weathers-Wentzell Center on Thursday when Gadsden State visits.

Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m., and the game will be streamed at https://livestream.com/mgcccbulldogs/events/9929781. Tickets, including an All-Basketball season pass, are for sale at http://mgcccbulldogs.com/tickets.

The Bulldogs will turn around and play Thursday, too. Snead State will also be making the trip over from Alabama.

  • Gulf Coast beat Meridian 64-61 on Nov. 4. Sharisse Bridges (So., Jackson/Callaway) had 16 points to lead the Bulldogs.
  • Gadsden State lost 85-62 to Pearl River on Nov. 5. Grace Walters had 22 points for the Cardinals.

Previous Meeting

One-liner Gulf Coast beat Gadsden State 61-51 at Perk on Dec. 7, 2019. Kayla Simmons had 12 points for the Bulldogs.
