No. 20 Mississippi Gulf Coast left Wesson with a tie Tuesday night after the Bulldogs couldn't make a first-half lead hold up.
Copiah-Lincoln got a 63rd-minute goal and the game finished 1-1.
"We face some adversity now with the first conference points we've dropped," Bulldogs coach Ryan Joiner said. "We'll get to see what our girls' resolve is headed into Friday's big game against the No. 1 team in the country. That'll be a different set of challenges."
The Bulldogs will entertain Northwest Mississippi at Bary Thrash Field. Kickff is set for 4 p.m.
Laylah Johnson (Fr., Gulfport/Gulfport) put Gulf Coast up in the 13th minute, scoring her sixth goal in three games. Isabella Reynolds (So., Pascagoula/Pascagoula) picked up the assist.
Laurel Conley (Fr., Ocean Springs/Ocean Springs) saved a penalty in the 58th minute, but the Wolves (1-2-2, 0-1-1 MACCC) were able to knot it back up five minutes later.
Gulf Coast remains unbeaten at 6-0-1 and is 1-0-1 in conference play.
