Buie, Bell make ITA Regional finals
Mississippi Gulf Coast sent tennis players to the finals of the men's and women's singles at the ITA Regional Championship in Meridian on Thursday.
Bianca Buie (So., Baia Mare, Romania/Gheorghe Sincai National High School) and Travis Bell (Fr, Jackson/Calloway) lost in the finals as top seeds, but Buie and her partner Margarita Lopareva will play in the women's doubles finals Saturday.
The winners from Meridian advance to the ITA Oracle Cup, which starts Oct. 11 in Rome, Ga.
