Kimberly Redfearn became the Gulf Coast Athletic Department’s administrative assistant in July 2025 with an impressive work history in academia to Perkinston.

She began her career in education in 2001, serving in a variety of roles in Mississippi public schools from DeSoto County to Harrison County. She spent much of that time serving as a Language Arts teacher.

Redfearn also served in administrative roles, most recently as a bookkeeper and accounts manager in Forrest County School District.

Before entering the education field, Redfearn worked for the FedEx Leadership Institute at the World Headquarters in Memphis, Tenn.

She has a bachelor’s in elementary education from the University of Mississippi. Redfearn is married to her husband Hall, and she has two children, Karlie and Trey.
