
Gulf Coast sweeps to seventh straight win
The Mississippi Gulf Coast men's tennis team rolled to its seventh straight victory Tuesday, defeating Hinds 7-2 in Raymond.
The Bulldogs improved to 8-1 in MACJC play ahead of Saturday's match against Northwest in Perkinston.
Three Gulf Coast players won two matches each. Noah Tippen and Brennan O'Keefe won No. 2 doubles, with Tippen winning No. 3 singles and O'Keefe winning at No. 6.
Sam Blackburn teamed with Bryan Allen to win No. 1 singles, and Blackburn won his No. 2 singles match 6-0, 6-1.
Matches Saturday at the MGCCC Tennis Complex begin at 10 a.m.
