
Softball opens season Feb. 2; season passes on sale now
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast will start its 2024 softball season with a trip to Louisiana on Feb. 2 and play six games before opening play at Ross-Smith Field with the MGCCC Invitational a week later.
Coach David Kuhn, in his third season in charge of the Bulldogs, will have 14 home dates with 60 games on the regular-season slate.
Season passes are on sale now, with reserved chairback seats costing $75 and a general admission pass $50. This year, for the first time, single-game tickets will be cheaper if purchased online at http://mgcccbulldogs.com/tickets. Adults will pay $10 at the game or $7 online, with youth tickets costing $7 at the gate and $5 online.

Gulf Coast is hosting a pair of tournaments starting with the MGCCC Invitational on Feb. 9-10. Lamar State-Port Arthur, Coastal Alabama-South and Meridian will be participating. The Bulldog Classic will be March 1-2 and includes Central Alabama and Bishop State.
The Bulldogs open MACCC play on March 9 with a trip to Mississippi Delta, and their first home conference doubleheader will be March 15 when Itawamba visits Perk.
