Mississippi Gulf Coast lost 3-0 to No. 5 Jones in women's soccer action Friday in Ellisville.
The Bulldogs gave up a goal in the sixth minute, then another before halftime, and couldn't catch up.
Gulf Coast falls to 2-7-2 overall, 0-5-2 in MACCC play. Jones is 8-1-1, 5-1-1.
The Bulldogs have three games left in the season and need to win all of them to have a chance to reach the postseason.
Gulf Coast returns to action at home on Tuesday. Archrival Pearl River visits Bary Thrash Field with kickoff set for 5 p.m. The game will be streamed at https://mgcccbulldogs.com/watch.
