Women’s Soccer places 3 on All-MACCC squad

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast placed three players on the All-MACCC Women's Soccer Team, led by three-time honoree Alyssa Palisi.

She was named as a forward, and she was joined by freshmen A'Leigh Coleman as a goalkeeper and Valentina Marin as a midfielder. The voting was conducted by the conference coaches.

Palisi, a sophomore from Diamondhead, led the Bulldogs with seven goals while adding an assist. She finishes her Gulf Coast career with 22 goals and 10 assists.

Coleman, a freshman from Ocean Springs, played every minute in goal for Gulf Coast. She had a save percentage of .853 and a goal-against average of 1.59.

Marin, a freshman from Bogota, Colombia, finished second on the squad with three assists.
