MGCCC women’s tennis starts Jan. 31
PERKINSTON — The Mississippi Gulf Coast women had their best-ever finish at the NJCAA Division I Tennis Tournament last season, finishing 12th. That was tops among MACJC teams in Waco, Texas.
The Lady Bulldogs will be back on the court for their first dual match Jan. 31 at Copiah-Lincoln. Coach Gary Bourgeois' team has its opening home match Feb. 1 against Holmes, the first of 11 dates at the MGCCC Tennis Complex.
The MACJC/NJCAA Region 23 Tournament will be played in Tupelo this year April 10-13. The national championship is May 5-9 back in Waco.
