Gulf Coast women play first match Friday

PERKINSTON — The weather-delayed start of the 2021 Mississippi Gulf Coast Women's Tennis team's schedule looks like it will finally happen Friday.

The Bulldogs travel to Fulton to take on Itawamba in their season-opener. ICC has two matches under its belt.

First serves are scheduled for 1 p.m.

No. 18 Gulf Coast won its fourth straight match by beating Itawamba 8-1 at Perk. It was the last match before the pandemic shut down the 2020 season.
