No. 21 Gulf Coast drops 2 in Montgomery

No. 21 Mississippi Gulf Coast dropped a pair of women's tennis matches Saturday in Montgomery, Ala.

The Bulldogs lost 5-4 to Coastal Alabama-South, then lost 7-2 to NCAA Division III Huntingdon College on its home courts.

Abigail Garman (Fr., Diamondhead/Hancock) and Bayley Askin (Fr., St. Martin/St. Martin) won two points each against Coastal Alabama.

Askin won her No. 3 singles match against Huntingdon, and Tanyaradzwa Kaome (Fr., Harare, Zimbabwe/The Heritage School) and Hayden Hensarling (Fr., Ocean Springs/Ocean Springs) won at No. 1 doubles.

Gulf Coast returns to MACCC action Tuesday when it travels to Holmes. First serves are set for 2 p.m.
