Mississippi Gulf Coast couldn't make a 21-point halftime lead stand up Thursday, losing 72-70 in Moorhead to Mississippi Delta.
Jabarie Robinson (Fr., Raymond/Raymond) was the only Bulldog in double-digits with 19 points.
Gulf Coast had two turnovers in the final minute, and Delta (4-10, 1-2 MACCC) got a put-back with 20.6 seconds left to win it.
Idell Walton (Fr., Tampa Fla./SLAM Tampa), Demarcus Powe (Fr., Meridian/Meridian) and Darius Dawson (So., Sumter S.C./West Florence) had eight each for the Bulldogs.
Gulf Coast is now 6-9, 0-3 MACCC. The Bulldogs entertain Northeast Mississippi on Tuesday. Tipoff at Dantzler Arena is set for 6 p.m. The game will be streamed at https://mgcccbulldogs.com/watch.
