Smith named MACCC Player of the Week
PERKINSTON — Kade Smith powered Mississippi Gulf Coast to a big week, and he was honored with the MACCC Men's Soccer Player of the Week
Smith, a freshman forward from London, England, had three goals and an assist in a 1-0-1 week for the Bulldogs. As a result, Gulf Coast moved into the 19th spot in the latest NJCAA Division II Men's Soccer Poll
He had the Bulldogs first two goals in a 3-3 tie at No. 5 Jones, then had a goal and an assist in a 5-0 win over Andrew College.
Smith will now be eligible for the NJCAA's weekly award.
