
Hall, Smith named Bulldogs of the Week
PERKINSTON — Trey Hall and Kyla Smith have been named Bulldogs of the Week for Oct. 9-15.
Hall, a freshman running back from Vicksburg, ran for 213 yards on 20 carries with two scores against Copiah-Lincoln. He had touchdown runs of 70 and 57 yards.
Smith, a freshman forward from Hurley, had the first goal of the game in Gulf Coast's 2-1 loss to No. 4 Jones. She leads the Bulldogs with 10 goals.
Also nominated:
Leah Capiola, a freshman keeper from Wiggins, had six saves in the loss to Jones.
Wyatt Wright, a sophomore linebacker from Bridgeville, Del., had 17 total tackles against Copiah-Lincoln. He had nine solos plus two tackles for loss and a forced fumble.
