Smith named Bulldog of the Week
PERKINSTON — Kyla Smith has been named Bulldog of the Week for Aug. 21-17.
Smith, a freshman from Hurley, scored twice against Pearl River and had the go-ahead assist in a 4-3 win at Meridian. She scored twice in the first half to put Gulf Coast up 2-1 over No. 11 PRCC, and her assist set up Elissa Viquez for a 3-2 lead, a lead they held on to through the rest of the game.
