Burn named Bulldog of the Week
PERKINSTON — Kendall Burn has been named Bulldog of the Week for May 6-12.
The sophomore from Wiggins advanced to the consolation bracket finals in No. 4 singles out in Texas. She defeated Paradise Valley's Azelia Lara in the quarterfinals on Monday and Jacksonville's Adriana Iturralda in the semifinals.
Also nominated:
Mikenzy Dubrow and Lauren Sullivan advanced to the consolation bracket finals in No. 3 doubles. The duo beat Weatherford's Chloe Baker and Sara Maksimovic in the quarterfinals and Meridian's Cayden Alexander-Lilly Hollingsworth in the semifinals.
