No. 14 Bulldogs cruise past Northwest

No. 14 Mississippi Gulf Coast kept rolling Tuesday, claiming its eight straight match by beating Northwest 8-1 in Senatobia.

The Bulldogs improve to 10-3 overall, 8-1 in MACJC play.

Reid Cudd (Fr, Wiggins/Stone) dropped only one game on his way to winning a pair of matches. He and Brett Bowen (So, Oxford/Oxford) won 8-1 in No. 3 singles, and he won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles.

Gulf Coast continues a busy week Thursday when it travels to Copiah-Lincoln for another conference showdown. Matches in Wesson start at 1:30 p.m.
