Nester named Bulldog of the Week
PERKINSTON — Grayson Nester has been named the Bulldog of the Week for Nov. 1-6
Nester, a freshman keeper from Flowood, had eight saves in Gulf Coast's 1-0 overtime loss to Pearl River in the NJCAA Gulf District semifinal.

Javeon Gordon, a freshman guard from Mount Olive, filled up three scoresheets off the bench this week. He averaged 16.3 points and 5.3 rebounds while picking up eight assists, seven steals and two blocks in wins over Southern-Shreveport and Piney Woods and a loss at No. 1 Northwest Florida State. He shot 58.6 percent from the floor, 64.3 percent from the 3-point arc and 85.7 percent from the free-throw line.
Ramone Bradley, a freshman wide receiver from Fairhope, Ala., caught two first-half touchdown passes in Gulf Coast's 38-27 MACCC semifinal loss to East Mississippi. He finished with six catches for 108 yards.
