Fred Lewis to host baseball camp at MGCCC
PERKINSTON —Former Mississippi Gulf Coast baseball player Fred Lewis, a seven-year big leaguer, will again host his free camp with his alma mater this weekend.
Lewis, a 2009 inductee into the MGCCC Athletics Hall of Fame, will hold the event Saturday at Ken "Curly" Farris Field on the Perkinston Campus. It will run from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. It's for players ages 6-14.
Campers will instruction, meet-and-greet opportunities with Lewis and a T-shirt. To register, go to http://www.dreamseries.org/register.
