Zach Parker poured in 30 points to help lead Mississippi Gulf Coast to a 93-79 victory at Bishop State on Monday.
"He shot the ball really well from the 3-point line," Bulldogs coach Wendell Weathers said, "especially down the stretch in the second half."
Parker, a sophomore shooting guard from Biloxi, is averaging 24.5 points in the Bulldogs' first two games of the season, both wins.
Davion Cole-Johnson (6-4, 210, So., Pike/Glen Ellyn, Ill.) added 25 points, with Stacee St. Julian (6-0, 165, Fr., St. Martin/St. Martin) chipping in 14 and Winston Morgan (5-10, 170, So., East Catholic/Manchester, Conn.) 10.
Gulf Coast returns to action Thursday with a visit to Baton Rouge. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m.
The Bulldogs' first home game is Nov. 17 when Bishop State visits Perkinston.
