Cole-Johnson, Morgan will play in All-Star Game

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast will have two representatives playing in the men's MACJC All-Star Basketball Game on April 14.

 

Davion Cole-Johnson and Winston Morgan have been selected to play in the game at the Brackeen-Wood Gym on the East Central Community College campus.

 

Cole-Johnson, a 6-foot-4 forward from Glen Ellyn, Ill., was a two-time All-Region 23 selection. He averaged 18.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.0 steals per game as a sophomore.

 

Morgan, a 5-foot-10 point guard from Manchester, Conn., averaged 14.0 points and 4.2 assists. He shot 45.4 percent from behind the 3-point line and nearly 90 percent from the free-throw line.

 

The men's game will tip off around 7 p.m., after the women's game, which starts at 5 p.m.
