Ratliff named MACCC Player of the Week
PERKINSTON — Anthony Ratliff filled up the scoresheet in Mississippi Gulf Coast's only men's basketball game of the week last week, and it won him MACCC Player of the Week.
The conference announced Ratliff, a sophomore forward from Terry, won the award after scoring 21 points and yanked down seven rebounds in the Bulldogs' 83-73 win over East Central.
He also blocked two shots and had an assist in the Bulldogs' only game of the week.
Ratliff is the first Bulldog to win Player of the Week this season. He's now eligible for NJCAA weekly honors.
