
No. 13 Bulldogs tennis blanks Holmes
PERKINSTON — No. 13 Mississippi Gulf Coast swept to a dominant 9-0 men's tennis victory over MACJC opponent Holmes on Thursday at the MGCCC Tennis Complex.
The Bulldogs dropped only four games in winning three doubles matches, and their six singles victories saw only nine games lost.
Travis Bell (So, Jackson/Calloway), Austin Vos (Fr, Perth, Australia/Applecross), John Murphy (So, Mobile, Ala./McGill-Toolen) and Evan Chubb picked up two points by winning their singles and doubles matches.
Gulf Coast (8-1, 6-0 MACJC) continues a busy week Friday with the third of four matches on consecutive days. The Bulldogs entertain Itawamba with the first serve at 1 p.m.
