Two more wins for Bulldogs at nationals

No. 12 Mississippi Gulf Coast picked up two more wins Wednesday at the NJCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship in Plano, Texas.

Evan Chubb (Fr, Biloxi/St. Patrick) needed a third-set tiebreaker to win his No. 4 singles quarterfinal match in the consolation draw. He teamed with Reid Cudd (So, Wiggins/Stone) to win at No. 3 doubles.

The Bulldogs have 9.5 points, a half-point behind Meridian. They have an opportunity to pick up four more wins for two total points over the next two days.
