No. 13 MGCCC men stay undefeated in MACJC

No. 13 Mississippi Gulf Coast went to No. 15 Hinds on Thursday and won an MACJC showdown 7-2 in Raymond.

The Bulldogs improved to 12-1, 9-0 MACJC.

Gulf Coast swept the doubles matches, and John Murphy (So, Mobile, Ala./McGill-Toolen), Evan Chubb (Fr, Biloxi/St. Patrick), Reid Cudd (So, Wiggins/Stone) and Austin Moore (So, Petal/Petal) claimed Nos. 3-6 singles.

The Bulldogs return to action Saturday with a big showdown at No. 10 Meridian. The first serves are set for noon.

MGCCC's final home match will be Wednesday when Copiah-Lincoln visits the MGCCC Tennis Complex. Fans are encouraged to bring two canned goods for a food drive to benefit Our Daily Bread, a Stone County food pantry that assists families in need.
