Mustered wins MACCC Player of the Week
PERKINSTON — Linda Mustered was a scoring machine for No. 5 Mississippi Gulf Coast last week, and the MACCC took notice.
The sophomore was named conference Player of the Week after a four-goal week that helped the Bulldogs to a pair of blowout victories.
The forward from Biloxi had a goal and two assists in an 8-0 win at East Mississippi, then notched her second hat trick of the season in a 7-0 victory over Hinds.
Mustered is the third Bulldog to earn weekly honors from the conference. She joins Laurel Conley, who was Keeper of the Week twice, and Kaylee Tardo, who won that award once. The NJCAA Player of the Week will be announced Wednesday.
