PERKINSTON — Chasity Snyder won a pressure-packed final match for No. 18 Mississippi Gulf Coast as the Bulldogs edged No. 25 Copiah-Lincoln 5-4 at the MGCCC Tennis Complex.
The freshman from Florence beat Grace Phillips 6-4, 6-3 at No. 6 singles for the clinching point. She had teamed with Tia Topps (Fr., Grenada/Grenada) earlier in the day to get Gulf Coast's only doubles point.
