No. 15 Men blank Tigers

PERKINSTON — No. 15 Mississippi Gulf Coast destroyed Northeast Mississippi 9-0 in MACCC men's tennis action Thursday at the MGCCC Tennis Complex.

The Bulldogs dropped only three games in 15 sets of play to stretch their winning streak to seven. They are now 13-1 overall, 11-1 MACCC.

Paul Gayk (Fr., Muelheim an der Ruhr, Germany/Berufskolleg Lehnerstrasse) and Kyle Bond (Fr., Wiggins/Stone) each won their doubles 8-0 and their singles matches 6-0, 6-0.

Gulf Coast plays the first of three non-conference matches next week against Point University, MGCCC coach Sam Blackburn's alma mater, on Tuesday. The teams will meet halfway in Montgomery, Ala., and start at 11 a.m.
