Mississippi Gulf Coast dropped a pair of games Friday in Niceville, Fla., losing 10-0 in six innings to host Northwest Florida State and 8-0 to Motlow State.
The Bulldogs, who play in NJCAA Division II played two tough teams from Division I.
Brendan McCauley (So., Gulfport/Harrison Central) had two hits in the second game, with the Bulldogs managing only four hits.
Gulf Coast got only one hit in the first game.
The Bulldogs open play at Ken "Curly" Farris Field on Tuesday. The doubleheader against Baton Rouge starts at 2 p.m.
