PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast plays the first of two straight MACCC conference doubleheaders on the road Saturday.
The Bulldogs head to Senatobia to take on Northwest Mississippi. The doubleheader starts at 2 p.m.

Last Time Out
- MGCCC split with No. 7 Meridian on Wednesday at Perk, winning the opener 8-7 and losing 8-1 in the nightcap.
- Northwest lost twice at Itawamba on Wednesday, losing 8-7 and 5-1 in Fulton.
Previous Meeting
Gulf Coast swept the doubleheader last year on March 6, 2021, winning 9-5 and 4-3. The Rangers were ranked fourth in the country.

- Gulf Coast has won four of the last six meetings between the teams, including a Region 23 qualifying series win in Senatobia in 2018.
