Walters repeats as MACJC Keeper of the Week
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's Kassady Walters has repeated as MACJC Keeper of the Week after posting two more shutouts.
Walters, a sophomore from Harrison Central, stopped all six shots she faced in 8-0 and 6-0 wins over Copiah-Lincoln and Southwest.
She has eight shutouts on the season, which ties her for third most in the NJCAA. Her goals-against average is 0.92.
Last week, she won the national Keeper of the Week award, and she has won the state award three times this year.
