Lee earns another repeat All-American nod

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's Hyungjoon Lee added another prestigious award to his postseason haul on Tuesday when the United Soccer Coaches named him an All-American.

Lee earned a spot on the USC's Junior College Division II Men's All-America Team. He was one of only two repeat winners among men's honorees in all three NJCAA divisions.

The sophomore midfielder from Suwon, South Korea, finished second in the MACCC with 14 goals. He added four assists.

His contributions to the Gulf Coast season which made it to the NJCAA Gulf District semifinals extend far beyond those stats. He was the ultimate utility player, seeing significant time as a forward and as a defender.

Last week, Lee was named an NJCAA All-American for the second time.
