Lady Bulldogs fall at Bay Minette

The Mississippi Gulf Coast women's tennis team lost 6-3 at Coastal Alabama-South on Friday, with Margarita Lopareva and Megan Bankston being part of two victories.

Lopareva, a sophomore from Moscow, Russia, teamed with Bankston to win No. 1 doubles, and then won her No. 1 singles match over Maddie Stewart 6-2, 6-2.

Bankston (So., Gulfport/Gulfport) won her No. 2 singles match 6-1, 6-2.

The Lady Bulldogs return to action Tuesday when Hinds visits the MGCCC Tennis Complex. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
