Lady Bulldogs tennis loses to Jones

Margarita Lopareva picked up Mississippi Gulf Coast's sole win Wednesday in it 8-1 defeat at Jones in Ellisville.

Lopareva, a sophomore from Moscow, Russia, defeated Mireira Jordan 6-2, 6-3 in their No. 1 singles match.

The Lady Bulldogs (1-5) continue a busy week Thursday with another road match, this time at East Central. First serves in Decatur will be at 1 p.m.
