Bulldog women finish 18th

PERKINSTON — The Mississippi Gulf Coast women's tennis team will finish the 2020 season 18th in the country in the Oracle/ITA NJCAA Division I National Team Rankings, which were put out this week. 

The Bulldogs went 10-1 and are the second-highest ranked MACJC team. Their only loss came to No. 16 Jones in their only meeting of the season.

Gulf Coast is ranked sixth in the ITA Region III.

Krissy Georgieva (Fr., Epsom and Ewell High School/Sutton, England), whose only loss of the season came against NAIA William Carey, is 15th in Region III singles. She was the highest-ranked MACJC player and teamed with Noni Charlton (Fr., Ipswich School/Ipswich, England) to form the 12th-ranked doubles team.
