MGCCC’s Hall named MACJC Offensive Player of the Week

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast midfielder Jordan Hall has been named MACJC Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 5-11.

Hall, a freshman from Manchester, England, had five goals and three assists in a pair of wins that saw Gulf Coast outscore the opposition 12-2.

He had two goals and an assist in a 5-2 victory over Jones County on Tuesday, then added three goals and two assists in a 7-0 blowout of Copiah-Lincoln on Friday. Hall is tied for sixth in the country with seven goals this season, one behind a pack of five players at eight.

Gulf Coast returns to action Tuesday afternoon with a visit to Southwest. The Lady Bulldogs play at 2 p.m., with the men scheduled to play at 4.

There will be more MACJC action at the new MGCCC Soccer Complex on Friday when Meridian visits. The Lady Bulldogs kick off at 5 p.m., with the Bulldogs playing at 7.
